Exhibition Opportunities

The exhibitor is solely responsible for the timely submission of their logo and company profile to ICT4D Conference organizers.

Intellectual Property Rights: The ICT4D Conference may list exhibitors online and in printed material prepared and distributed prior to and at the event. The ICT4D Conference is not liable for errors or omissions contained in such information. Unless otherwise stated, the copyright for any such publications belongs to the ICT4D Conference. The ICT4D Conference may wish to photograph and film displays or features and reserves the right to do so for the purposes of promoting future events.

Exhibition Space: All exhibitors must ensure that their exhibits fall within the agreed boundaries. Build-up and breakdown times for exhibition displays will be as specified by ICT4D Conference. Exhibitors shall be liable for all storage and handling charges and for any failure to remove exhibit materials or property belonging to them by the end of the breakdown period.

Health & Safety: The exhibitor hereby agrees to abide by all Health and Safety Regulations as set out by the event venue. The ICT4D Conference shall not be held liable for any breaches by the exhibitor of the same.

Damage to Venue: The exhibitor is liable for any damage caused by it, its employees, its contractors, sub-contractors and agents to the event host venue including all outside areas and all inside walls, flooring, fixtures and fittings.

Electrical Installations: Only the electrical contractor appointed by the event host venue and/or ICT4D Conference may fit or connect electrical installations. The ICT4D Conference does not accept any responsibility for failure of the electrical equipment, installation or supply.

Limitations of Liability: Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken by ICT4D Conference to ensure security and safety at the event, the exhibitor shall indemnify ICT4D Conference against any losses, damage, costs and expenses incurred by ICT4D Conference resulting from: any claim made in respect of damage to persons and property caused by the exhibitor, the exhibitor’s stand, installation, furnishings exhibits or staff or contractors or sub-contractor or agents; any claim for copyright infringement for which the ICT4D Conference may be sued or held liable for any acts of omission of the exhibitor or its staff in connection with and during the event. The ICT4D Conference similarly does not accept any responsibility for any exhibitor’s failure to arrange the correct insurance cover.

Cancellation: The exhibitor shall not cancel this booking at any time unless with the express written agreement of the ICT4D Conference.

Force Majeure/ Postponing or Moving of Event: If the ICT4D Conference decides for reasons beyond its control that the event needs to be cancelled, postponed, or moved, due in whole or part to the event venue becoming unavailable or unsuitable, ICT4D Conference will not be held responsible for any direct, indirect or consequential loss incurred by the exhibitor. The exhibitor shall receive a refund of the payments made. Any liability of the ICT4D Conference shall be limited to that refund alone.
