Do you know talented African web developers? As part of their involvement at the 10th ICT4D conference, John Deere is hosting a pre-conference hackathon that seeks to improve African smallholder farmers’ access to tractors.
This application development competition is an opportunity for developers from across the continent to showcase their skills, connect with tech leaders from around the world, and develop tools to serve others. Developers are invited to participate in the competition and submit solutions by April 19. Judges will evaluate submissions and our partners at BongoHive will help finalists create video presentations of their proposed applications. These videos will be shown and the winners will be announced at the ICT4D conference in Lusaka, Zambia from May 8-10, 2018. Winners will receive cash prizes.
